The Onyarbi Hotel
It is a close and family-run hotel located in the emblematic Miramar building, in the heart of the town of Hondarribia. It is a step away from the Old Town and the old fishermen's neighbourhood known as La Marina, a picturesque and traditional area that has now become one of the best pintxos spots in the Bidasoa region.
Both the grandeur of the mountains, its sandstone streets and its medieval walls, as well as the unmistakable smell of the sea and the roar of the waves, make you part of the space — it captures you. And to feel even more moved by its landscapes, the traditional boat that leaves from the Paseo Butrón de Hondarribia has been connecting every day with the French town of Hendaye since 1993, in just 5 minutes.
Hondarribia — also known as Onyarbi — is a perfect base for different itineraries along the Basque coast, among which the first stage of the Camino de Santiago and the Mount Jaizkibel route stand out: guiding you from the Higer Lighthouse to the Guadalupe Fort and showing you its characteristic landscapes and cliffs.
